Christianity Today | 2006 Book Awards

If you like to keep up with the Christian book world, you may want to check out this link to Christianity Today's 2006 Book Awards.

Unfortunately it is publishers rather than readers who actually nominate titles, which perhaps explains some of the more unusual winners (unusual to me, anyway!). However, the final 20 or so winners are selected from the shortlist of 200 into a number of categories ranging from fiction to theology and academic references.

Perhaps we should start another list noting which Christian books you think should receive an award for their impact and revelation?

  1. I fully agree. And I’d like to kick off by nominating the Da Vinci Code for helping spread a better understanding of the life and times of Jesus…… hang on a moment. That doesn’t sound right 🙂
